Zicheng United International Engineering (Rwanda) Co., Ltd. is a fully owned subsidiary of Zicheng United Construction Group Co., Ltd. The company was established to implement construction and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects in Rwanda and the wider region.
As an EPC contractor, the company is responsible for construction planning, site coordination, technical execution, schedule management, quality assurance, safety supervision, documentation control, regulatory compliance, contract administration, and overall project delivery.
1. Available Positions
1. MEP Engineer (Assistant Engineer) – 1 Position
Salary: Above RWF 400,000 per month
Qualifications:
Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate MEP technical activities on site
- Implement shop drawings and method statements
- Coordinate MEP works with civil and finishing teams
- Monitor construction progress and quality
2. Finishing & Landscape Engineer (Assistant Engineer) – 1 Position
Salary: Above RWF 400,000 per month
Qualifications:
Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, or related architectural disciplines
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate site activities for finishing and landscape works
- Translate architectural designs into construction execution
- Review materials, samples, and construction methods
- Coordinate with structural and MEP teams
- Ensure quality, progress, and visual standards are met
3. Cost & Contract Engineer (Assistant Engineer) – 1 Position
Salary: Above RWF 400,000 per month
Qualifications:
Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out measurements and cost control activities
- Administer subcontractor payments
- Support variation orders and claims
- Manage contract-related documentation
4. Document Controller (Assistant Engineer) – 1 Position
Salary: Above RWF 400,000 per month
Qualifications:
Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or Engineering Technology
Key Responsibilities:
- Control drawings and technical documents
- Manage document versions and registers
- Coordinate document submissions
- Prepare as-built documents and handover files
5. HSE & Compliance Engineer (Assistant Engineer) – 1 Position
Salary: Above RWF 400,000 per month
Qualifications:
Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise site safety operations
- Implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
- Conduct safety training and inspections
- Maintain incident prevention records and reports
6. Finance Officer (Junior Level) – 1 Position
Salary: RWF 300,000 – 600,000 per month
Qualifications:
Accounting, Finance, or Financial Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project financial records
- Process payments and reimbursements
- Support tax compliance and audit processes
- Organize and file financial documents
General Requirements
- Target applicants include engineers registered with the Rwanda Association of Engineers and high-performing recent graduates with bachelor’s degrees
- Preference may be given to candidates with international education experience
- Strong English communication skills are required
- Willingness to learn Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory
- The company provides Chinese language training and expects basic working proficiency within 6–12 months
