Easy and Possible Organization (EPO) is seeking a qualified and dynamic Principal / Head Master to lead ISANO Vocational Training Center (ISANO VTC) in Rubavu District.

ISANO VTC is one of EPO’s flagship initiatives, designed to promote Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Rwanda. The center provides skills-based education aligned with the national TVET framework and labor market demands.

🎓 Key Responsibilities of the Principal / Head Master
The Principal will provide strategic leadership, academic oversight, operational management, and institutional development for ISANO VTC.
1️⃣ Leadership & Administration
- Oversee daily operations of the institution.
- Supervise academic and administrative staff.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
- Promote ethical conduct and professional standards.
- Strengthen internal governance structures.
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong educational leadership and institutional management skills.
2️⃣ Academic & Curriculum Management
- Develop and implement competency-based vocational curricula.
- Ensure alignment with national TVET standards.
- Monitor teaching quality and student learning outcomes.
- Integrate entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital skills into training programs.
- Coordinate student assessments, certification, and performance reviews.
This role requires expertise in:
- Curriculum development
- Vocational education systems
- Competency-based training
- Skills-based education models
3️⃣ Financial & Resource Management
- Prepare and manage institutional budgets.
- Ensure transparent financial reporting.
- Supervise procurement and inventory systems.
- Oversee facility maintenance and infrastructure development.
- Ensure accountability in resource allocation.
Experience in financial management for schools or NGOs is highly desirable.
4️⃣ ICT & Digital Learning Integration
In today’s digital era, modern vocational training must embrace technology.
The Principal will:
- Promote ICT in teaching and administration.
- Ensure effective use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email.
- Implement e-learning systems and digital platforms.
- Oversee school management software and data systems.
- Encourage innovation and digital entrepreneurship.
5️⃣ Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships
- Represent ISANO VTC in meetings with government institutions.
- Build partnerships with NGOs, private sector, and TVET stakeholders.
- Collaborate with donors and development partners.
- Strengthen community engagement.

- Develop institutional performance indicators.
- Prepare quarterly and annual reports.
- Conduct internal evaluations.
- Implement data-driven improvement strategies.
7️⃣ Staff Capacity Building
- Identify training needs for teachers.
- Organize professional development workshops.
- Mentor staff in pedagogy and leadership.
- Promote continuous improvement culture.
8️⃣ Compliance & Policy Implementation
- Ensure compliance with national education and TVET standards.
- Implement internal policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment.
9️⃣ Innovation & Institutional Development
- Introduce modern teaching methodologies.
- Promote entrepreneurship and startup incubation.
- Ensure competitiveness at regional and international levels.
- Align programs with labor market demands.
✅ Required Qualifications & Competencies
🎓 Academic Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Education, School Administration, or related field.
- Rwandan National.
💼 Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in school leadership or education management.
- Experience in vocational training or TVET is highly preferred.
🌐 Language Requirements
- Fluency in Kinyarwanda and English.
- French is an added advantage.
